Jasper the Cat needs a home
I’m a handsome boy and my owners are heartbroken having to re-home me. I get along well with cats that live in the same house as me but I recently saw another cat outside the window and re-directed my aggression towards one of my adult owner’s legs. Due to the fact that there is a baby living in the home with me and my owners have 7 other grandchildren who frequently visit me, I need to find a home with no children and an owner willing to give me a chance. I have always been an indoor cat but desired a taste of the good outdoors, so my owner built me a catio where I can safely enjoy some fresh air and watch squirrels. I have struggled with a painful urinary infection so I am on a completely wet food diet and have had no issues since switching. I will admit that I have an occasional accident outside of my litter box and my owner’s think it is because I am a little anxious and can be easily stressed. I am not a clingy cat and do not like to be held but enjoy some affection and love to simply sit near my owner. I can be very playful with my owners and enjoy chasing toys. I have lived well alongside other cats in my home but have no experience with dogs. If you have a quiet home where I can feel safe, do not have children around and are willing to keep me indoors(I can bring my catio with me if you have room), then I am ready to move in with you! I am 7 years old, up to date on all of my vaccines and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV.
